(KSL News) Police are searching for a man who robbed a Midvale convenience store at knifepoint this afternoon. Investigators say the man stepped into the 7-Eleven at 8000 S. State St. around 4:15 pm.
He waited inside until all the customers left. He then walked up to the counter, showed the clerk his knife and demanded all the money in the register.
He started swinging the knife around to get the clerk to move faster. He got the money and took off on foot.
Police believe he likely got into a nearby car and fled the area.
Detectives hope someone will recognize him from this video and call police.
