EMMAUS, Pa., Oct 17, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- The best city to live in if you are a man is Madison, Wisc., Mens Health magazine announced Friday.
The worst city for a man to live in is Memphis, Tenn., according to the magazine's research, says Mike Zimmerman.
"We crunched numbers until we found the places where heart disease looms large over the landscape, and where it nearly vanishes," Zimmerman said.
"Locations where a man can breathe in clean air, and others where he'll be inhaling ozone, and places where he can exercise his right to, well, exercise and not be the only guy in a 10-mile radius breaking a sweat."
So what's so great about Madison?
For one thing, Zimmerman says, the city has a total of 21,000 acres of space to swim, kayak, run, and play just about every kind of recreational sport there is.
