Even though the game is a little more than two days away, it's going to be a while before the University of Utah gets its promised payday from football's Bowl Championship Series.
The university will have to wait until the end of the fiscal year, June 30, before getting the bonus.
University of Utah Athletic Director Chris Hill said, "Those funds we'll dedicate towards, you know, continuing the moments we have with football and some of the needs there. Also some smaller projects around the department."
He added it would sure be nice to see a repeat performance next year.
