(KSL News) It was an ugly commute to work if you were on I-15 or I-80 this morning.
Around 9 a.m. a woman rolled her truck on I-80 into the freeway barriers between eastbound and westbound traffic at about 1000 East. The wreck blocked two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane for quite some time.
Troopers say the woman driving was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Three separate rear-end accidents also snarled traffic heading into Salt Lake from the north on I-15 this morning. Troopers say a man driving a pickup truck suddenly decided to exit at Center Street and stepped on his brakes, causing the car behind him to hit him.
Drivers who were caught in traffic from that accident caused a second rear-end crash less than a mile away. Minutes later, three other cars behind the second accident collided in a third traffic-slowing crash.
