COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- The Mountain West Player of the week goes to three players.
Quarterback Shaun Carney and kicker Zach Sasser of Air Force and defensive back Eric Weddle of Utah were all honored today.
Carney won the offense award. He rushed 25 times for 131 yards -- both career bests -- in the Falcons' victory 31 to 24 at Wyoming.
Meanwhile Weddle won the defensive honor with four tackles, including an assisted sack, and three interceptions as Utah beat San Diego State 38 to seven.
And finally Sasser won the special-teams award for going three-for-three on point-after attempts and hitting his only field goal attempt from 27 yards.
