(KSL News) Memorial services will begin today for a teen driver who was killed in a car crash in Provo Canyon.

Batnyam Enkhturiin, 17, was driving with three friends yesterday when he collided with another vehicle. Enkhturiin, a student at Wasatch High School, and his friend, Neal Harlan from Springville High School, both died at the hospital following the wreck. Two other friends were injured.

The Utah Highway Patrol says speed and weather likely were the culprits.

Trooper Janet Kerbo said, "Just because you have all-wheel drive doesn't make you invincible, that you can make it up the hill. If you'll look at the snow and roads behind us, it wasn't even this type of condition. The roads were actually plowed and cleared."

A viewing for Enkhturiin will be held tonight from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Olpin Hoops Funeral Home in Heber City. His funeral will be held tomorrow.

Services for Harlan have not been announced.
