(KSL News) A vigil was held tonight in Pioneer Park for those who died this year in homelessness.
A group sang songs as those in attendance lit candles to remember those who are so often forgotten. Then the names were read of homeless Utahns who died this year.
Several dignitaries, including the mayors of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County, attended the vigil. They thanked those who help the homeless and challenged the community to give more to the needy.
