OREM, Utah (AP) -- Utah Valley rallied from a 10-point first-half deficit to beat Southern Utah 78-72 on Saturday night, sparked by a 12-4 run to start the second half.

Utah Valley's Josh Olsen led all scorers with 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Ryan Toolson, Utah Valley's leading scorer this season, had only four points in the first half but recovered to finish with 22.

Both teams shot roughly 50 percent from the field, and the game was won from the free-throw line. Utah Valley made 7 of 8 free throws in the final three minutes, enough to keep the lead. Southern Utah's Tyler Quinney had a team-best 16 points when he left the game with 11 minutes left with an injury. Davis Baker finished with 21, tops for Southern Utah.

Utah Valley improved to 6-4. Southern Utah is 3-8.
