MILAN — Atalanta has got a tough month off to a poor start after drawing at Udinese 0-0 in Serie A. It could have been worse for Atalanta on Saturday had Alexis Sánchez not hit the woodwork twice for Udinese on the stroke of halftime. Atalanta remains two points behind league leader Napoli. Atalanta next plays Juventus and then Napoli in Serie A. It also has Champions League matches against Sturm Graz and Barcelona this month. Mike Maignan made a rare howler as Sérgio Conceição's first Serie A match as AC Milan coach ended 1-1 at home against relegation-threatened Cagliari. Juventus drew at Torino 1-1. Lecce beat fellow struggler Empoli 3-1.
