NEW ORLEANS — The returns of Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones have made the Pelicans look a lot more like the team coach Willie Green envisioned when the season began. Ingram erupted for 21 of his 29 points in the third quarter and Jones made a game-clinching block on Devin Booker in the Pelicans 126-124 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. Jones had missed 18 games with a right shoulder strain and Ingram had missed five games with a right calf injury. Star power forward Zion Williamson remained out indefinitely with his left hamstring strain. But Ingram and Jones were still able to join CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray and Trey Murphy III to help New Orleans snap a nine-game skid.
