(KSL News) Two robbers are on the loose after targeting two Zions banks.
The first robbery happened last night at the Zions Bank located inside the Smith's grocery store near 5600 West and 4100 South. Police say a woman handed the teller a note demanding cash with no dye pack inside. The teller complied, and the woman took off.
Police have little to go on because the robber's face was completely covered.
The other robbery happened just after 8 p.m. at the Zions Bank ATM near 4600 S. Highland Drive.
The victim tells police she was withdrawing money from the ATM when the robber grabbed her from behind and forced her aside. He took her cash, grabbed her arm and told her he had a gun.
She was able to get away and called police from her car. She didn't get a good look at the man because he was wearing a ski mask and a hood.
Police have not said whether to two robberies are related.
