OREM — Not even Aziz Bandaogo could block Seattle U.'s upset bid Saturday night.
Bandaogo had 23 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks, but Cameron Tyson had 20 points and the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:40 left as Seattle snapped the Wolverines' 11-game win streak 85-80 at the UCCU Center.
Riley Grigsby added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Redhawks (14-4, 5-0 WAC), and Alex Schumacher added 12 points and six assists.
Tim Fuller supplied 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolverines, who got 13 points from Le'Tre Darthard. Justin Harmon added 10 points and four assists for the Wolverines, who were outscored 7-2 in the final 30 seconds.
The Wolverines (14-5, 5-1 WAC) lost for the first time since Nov. 26 at Boise State, a run that included victories over BYU, Oregon and WAC preseason favorites Sam Houston State.
"We had our opportunities to win the game," said Utah Valley head coach Mark Madsen. "We put them on the free-throw line, and they made 19-of-21 and, conversely, we were 11-of-20, so obviously we need to convert when we get to the free-throw line.
"I thought we missed a few switching opportunities late in terms of shutting down some of their 3-point attempts. This is a humbling game for us. We'll learn from it, and we'll rebound from it. We'll be better because of it."

The Wolverines almost notched another win in a battle of conference unbeaten teams. Seattle led by as much as 8 with seven minutes left in the half, but Utah Valley shot 48% from the field before the break and held the Redhawks scoreless for the final three minutes to take a 44-42 edge into halftime.
Bandaogo had 11 points, three rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot on 3-of-3 shooting before the break, and the Wolverines limited Seattle to 2 second-chance points off seven offensive rebounds to chip away at the lead despite giving up seven 3-pointers.
Bandaogo scored UVU's first 6 points of the second half, all on dunks, as the two teams battled. Brandton Chatfield hit a 3-pointer off a turnover to pull the Redhawks within one, 69-68, with 5:14 to play.
But Tyson's triple with 1:40 to go capped an 8-2 run, and Seattle never trailed again.
Woodbury finished with 13 points, six rebounds and six assists for Utah Valley.
