THE QUARRY — If you don't know what drifting is, then my heart hurts for you. If drifting is foreign to you, you've probably never seen one of the greatest movies ever made, "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift."

The expertly made drama follows teenager Sean Boswell as he moves to Tokyo to avoid a jail sentence in the United States. While abroad, Sean miraculously finds about a thousand other American teenagers and quickly becomes a significant competitor in underground drift racing. I can't advocate for this film enough.

But if "Tokyo Drift" taught me anything other than fleeing to Tokyo will keep you out of jail, it is that if it has wheels, you can drift it.

If you don't believe me, I'd like you to watch this video and enjoy your humble pie.

This video from 2019 captures an 80,000-pound dump truck in Chesterfield, England, as it pulls up to receive a load from an excavator. As you can see, the clay on the ground is wet and muddy. I have to assume the driver of the truck forgot he wasn't in a Maserati but a truck that weighs more than a humpback whale.

Instead of turning around and backing up to the excavator, the driver spins the wheel and drifts into place.

I am now looking forward to "Fast and the Furious: Chesterfield Drift."
