(KSL News) A road-rage incident in West Jordan has landed three teenage boys in trouble. It happened near 9000 South and 4000 West.
Police say the teens were in a PT Cruiser when another car changed lanes in front of them Wednesday night. The woman driving that car says a backseat passenger rolled down the window and pointed a handgun at her.
"[She] called the police and immediately gave us a license plate and good description of the vehicle. Just so happened that we had an officer right there in the area who came across the vehicle and was able to stop it," said West Jordan police Sgt. Drew Sanders.
Police found a weapon in the vehicle, but it was an Airsoft gun that only looks real.
The teens face charges for threatening the woman with a gun. The boy driving the car was only 15.
