SALT LAKE CITY — A pair of Utah twins are coming up on a big milestone celebration.

On Saturday, Bobbie and Billie Olsen will turn 90 years old.

The twins say they're still close as ever, and they will celebrate with a big birthday and family reunion this weekend.

As brothers coming up on their 90th birthday, they are among the oldest sets of living twins in the state — not that anyone would ever know it.

"I just keep plugging along, and I'm going to keep going as long as I'm able to," said Billie Olsen.

They, like most siblings, still keep up with who's the oldest.

"I don't want Billie to forget he's an hour and a half older than I am! He's the old one," said Bobbie Olsen.

With 90 years under their belts, between the two of them, Bobbie and Billie say they have just short of 150 living members in their family tree.

Bobbie Olsen and his wife have been married for 71 years. Together, they have seven children, 27 grandkids, 69 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Billie Olsen and his wife, who he says is now his angel, together have four children, around 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

"I can't remember all their names, you know, but they're all great and good-looking like grandma," Bobbie Olsen said.

They also share a lot of similar hobbies, having spent lots of time on horseback growing up, including delivering the newspaper on horseback, hunting throughout their lives and even walking the same career path as coal miners.

"We still got that bond, though. We're twins, you know? We're on the same page a lot of times thinking," said Billie Olsen.

Bobbie Olsen credited his strong religious ties to his long, joy-filled life, while Billie Olsen said it's thanks to a long life of working hard and his loving family that keeps him smiling with a full heart.
