ANETH, San Juan County — One man is dead and a second person is hospitalized following a head-on crash involving a pickup truck and a car on State Road 162 near the Utah-Colorado border in San Juan County, the Utah Highway Patrol says.
The deceased person is only identified as a male who was in the car, UHP trooper Mike Alexander says.
Another driver, in a pickup truck, was hospitalized, Alexander says.
S.R. 162 is closed in both directions while troopers investigate the crash.
