STAYING IN THE CART — Golf is a funny game.

Most of us play too little, practice even less, and, yet, for some strange reason we experience a momentary rage when a shot doesn't go as we pictured it in our minds.

I was once told by a playing partner that "you're not good enough to care." He was right, of course — about me and about 99% of the golfers who hit the public links — but who said anger had to make sense?

Case in point: My wife and I went to the driving range the other week. It was the second time in her life she's been at a golf course — she still grew bright red in frustration as she swung away at those danged little white balls (Great date idea, Ryan!).

So, yeah, it's pretty common to get a bit frustrated on the golf course. Beautifully manicured grass, a nice walk (OK, ride) outdoors and a moments of uncontrollable anger … that's golf.

But a video of a toddler's introduction to the world of golf, shared by the Twitter account @flushingitgolf, shows that it might not be our fault — it could just be inherent.

After a couple failed swings, the little guy dropped the club and swiped down at the ball with his hand. He then got a couple nice kicks in before he picked it up and threw it.

Yep, we've all been there, little man. I just wish I could promise it'll get better.

Welcome to golf.
