Every year between March and April, Christians around the world celebrate Easter to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Some of these traditions are deeply religious and spiritual while others are more commercialized. While Americans are busy dyeing eggs and tracking down treats left behind by the Easter Bunny, other countries have their own way of celebrating Easter and the week leading up to it.
Heart of Minky: Bringing comfort to infants and families
After Minky Couture owner Sandi Hendry's grandson was born prematurely, she was determined to share luxury and comfort with as many NICU families as she could and so The Heart of Minky program was created. Minky Couture continues its long-standing pledge to donate a mini-size Minky blanket each time an adult size blanket is purchased.From dressing up in costumes to throwing water on others for good luck, you might be surprised at some of the things people do to mark this holiday.
