MONA, Juab County – If anyone is missing their kids, the Juab County Sheriff's office wants to let you know that they have all been herded into a field in Mona.
Deputies located between 30 and 40 goats off the side of the road about 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to a Facebook post. In an effort to keep the goats contained, police herded them to a nearby field near 1100 West and 300 North while they wait for their owner to claim them.
Juab County Chief Sheriff's Deputy Travis Kenison told KSL.com that an individual who believes that the goats might be theirs has come forward.
"We think we have possibly identified the owner," Kenison said. "After we posted about it on Facebook, someone called, saying that they didn't know for sure if the goats are theirs, but that they would stop by after work to identify them."
Kenison said that the sheriff who first responded to the roaming kids was heading over to the field to check on them.
