SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police say Anthony Nowinski, 59, who has dementia was found Sunday after police issued a silver alert on Saturday.
Nowinski was found by a community member in Taylorsville, according to police.
Salt Lake City police said that Nowinski was considered endangered due to his diagnosis of dementia. They said he does not have the cognitive ability to know where to go and will not always be aware of his own name.
