1. Police identify man likely stabbed, thrown from car onto highway
Police have identified the man found dead with stab wounds early Saturday in the southbound lanes of Bangerter Highway near 7800 South. The man was identified Sunday as Cesar Adan Martinez, 37. Martinez had recently moved to Salt Lake City from West Valley City.
2. Hundreds gather at state Capitol to rally support for Ukraine
Hundreds gathered at the state Capitol Saturday in a rally to stand with Ukraine.
"Believe us. Our people are being killed; kids are being killed by the aggression of Russia," Iryna Kavetska said. Kavetska, who has lived in Salt Lake County for 13 years, pleaded for the safety of her family in Ukraine.
3. Family, friends of motorcyclist killed in wrong-way crash call for safety measures
Troopers say wrong-way crashes are becoming more common in Utah. Friends and family of Greg Workman, a motorcyclist killed in a wrong-way crash, on Saturday called for more prevention measures during a vigil for him at Hatch Park, not far from the freeway where he died.
4. Cox orders all Russian products pulled from Utah liquor store shelves
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox is ordering all Russian vodka to be pulled off of Utah's state-run liquor store shelves effectively immediately. The governor issued the executive order Saturday taking down the Russian liquor products in response to the invasion of Russian military forces into Ukraine.
5. Elderly pedestrian seriously injured in Brigham City hit-and-run
Brigham City police have arrested a man who they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 76-year-old man Saturday night. The man was crossing the street and was hit in the southbound lane in front of a gas station near 600 S. Main about 7:20 p.m., Brigham City police said. The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

4. Late push falls short as Sun Devils edge past Utes in 63-61 loss
Utah erased a 14-point deficit to tie the game up 59-all on a Branden Carlson 3-pointer at the top of the key with 1:04 left in the game. After a pair of made free throws by Arizona State on the ensuing possession, Carlson found Marco Anthony alone under the rim for a dunk to tie it up again with 28 seconds left in regulation.
5. Utah Valley sends off seniors, including Fardaws Aimaq, with home win over CBU
Celebrating senior day as one of five graduating players, the 6-foot-11, 245-pound center from Vancouver, British Columbia poured in 20 points, 16 rebounds and two blocked shots to help Utah Valley overwhelm visiting California Baptist, 63-54.
