WEST JORDAN — Police are searching for two men who stole a vehicle from a group of juveniles in West Jordan Friday night.

Four juveniles parked at a Walgreens at 7794 S. Redwood Road at around 6:30 p.m., according to West Jordan police. Two of the juveniles entered the store while two remained in the car.

Before the two in the store could return, police said two strangers — possibly two Hispanic men — approached the car, broke its windows and pulled the two juveniles out of the car.

The two juveniles had bruises from the incident but no other injuries.

The two men drove away. But before they could get too far, the car stopped because it was out of range of the car's electronic key fob.

Police said the two men fled after the car stopped. Responding officers deployed K9s to find the men, but they had not been found as of Saturday night.
