SALT LAKE CITY — Police have identified a man who was killed after being hit by two cars in Salt Lake City last week.

Juan Hernandez, 53, was hit near the intersection of 800 South and 900 West just before 7 a.m. Friday. Police say he was hit by two vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances of how Hernandez was hit remained under investigation Wednesday.
