SALT LAKE CITY — A man who police believe was hit by at least two vehicles was killed early Friday in Salt Lake City.

The incident happened about 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of 800 South and 900 West. A man, whose name and age have not yet been released pending notification of family members, was hit by two vehicles. How the crash happened, where the man was standing in the road, and who had the right of way were all questions that remained under investigation Friday.

Both drivers involved are cooperating with detectives, police said.

Police closed 800 South from 900 West to Jeremy Street for several hours as they investigated the incident.
