MAGNA — Unified police were looking Thursday for two people who shot a boy who has autism in the back with a BB gun.
On Jan. 8, a 17-year-old boy with autism was working at Smith's Food and Drug, 8055 W. 3500 South. He was collecting shopping carts in the parking lot about 10:30 p.m. when he was shot three times in the back with either a pellet or BB gun, according to Unified police.
Two males, of unknown ages, were seen laughing as they drove off in a blue sedan, according to police. Police said the shots left welts on the teen's back, but he was otherwise not physically injured.
