FROM THE PODIUM — Donna Kelce just had quite the weekend, completing a nearly unprecedented double Sunday to see both of her sons play in the 2022 NFL playoffs.
She started with her son Jason, who saw time on the offensive line of Philadelphia's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay. Then she made in time to see her other son Travis, the star tight end for Kansas City, in the Chiefs' 42-21 win over the Steelers.
And she still had time to make Travis Kelce's postgame Zoom call.
"After a disappointing Tampa game," Donna Kelce said, "this was an elation to see you get a touchdown in the playoffs.
"That's what makes sports so great," she later added, "you can be depressed in the morning, and elated in the evening."

Kelce caught five passes for 108 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown from Patrick Mahomes. But his fourth-straight playoff game with 100 yards or more — a streak that is tied for the longest in NFL history — wasn't what had the internet — or his mother — talking.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound tight end also threw his first career touchdown pass, finding Byron Pringle out of the wildcat formation for a 2-yard score with 14:13 remaining that put the Chiefs up 42-14.
"I'm glad you made it," Kelce told his mother while the Chiefs media looked on virtually, before his mother asked him a question about how he felt with the touchdown pass.
"To finally throw a touchdown like I used to tell my mom when I was 5 years old … I finally got it done. It only took me nine years."
And he got to do it in front of Mom, who always knows best.
