MORGAN — Morgan County School District has canceled its school day Friday due to weather-related issues.
"Severe icy conditions this morning are making it unsafe for buses," district officials noted on Facebook.
Originally, the district planned for a late start, but by about 6:30 a.m. officials decided to cancel school instead.
Roads will not be cleared before 10. School is canceled for the day. Have a safe weekend.

Another storm day was expected Friday ahead of a "long stretch of dry weather" in Utah, according to KSL meteorologist Kristen Van Dyke.
Temperatures dropped overnight, and the Wasatch Front anticipates an inch or less of snow Friday, Van Dyke said.
"High pressure returns after that and we will see hazy conditions develop by Monday," she said.
