MORGAN — A Morgan County man already accused of sexually abusing two children in his neighborhood is now accused of abusing a third child.

Jeffrey Curtis Horrocks, 53, of Peterson, who has remained in custody since his arrest a year ago, is now being held for investigation of additional charges, including four counts of lewdness involving a child, two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and dealing in harmful materials to a minor.

Horrocks was originally charged on Dec. 9, 2020 with sodomy on a child, a first-degree felony; sex abuse of a child and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, both second-degree felonies; and dealing in harmful materials to a minor, a third-degree felony. The alleged victim in that case is a boy under 8 years old.

Then in January, as the investigation continued, police identified a second alleged victim, a girl under the age of 10. Horrocks was charged in a second case with five additional felonies.

The latest accusations levied on Tuesday stem from investigators serving a search warrant on Horrocks' home a year ago. During the search, police seized a DVR and home video camera and sent the items to the Intermountain West Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory in Salt Lake City for analysis.

Police found evidence of Horrocks sexually abusing another girl under the age of 10 in the videos, according to a police booking affidavit.

On Wednesday, Horrocks' jury trial was rescheduled to now begin on April 11, 2022, according to court records.
