THE FRONT LAWN — Imagine you're practicing something you love and you do something awesome.

You finally nailed that guitar lick, or you finally fixed your code and it's working, or you land that first backflip.

You think you're alone, and thus celebrating inside with a beating heart and a sense of pride. But then someone pops out of the woodwork and starts cheering you on.

It sounds like a comedy sketch or a scene in a silly movie, but this featured video shows that it can also happen in real life.

The clip shows a teen in a suburban neighborhood shooting hoops in his front yard when he clearly becomes distracted by an odd vehicle coming down the street. That does not stop him from practicing.

It turns out the vehicle coming down the street is towing a trailer filled with members of, presumably, the local high school marching band.

Still a little confused, the boy sinks a jump shot, and the band goes wild. First they cheer, and then they break out into song. The vehicle doesn't stop. It slowly moves on to probably celebrate another front yard success.

Maybe there's a dad who mowed perfect lines in his front yard, maybe there's a girl who is teaching her dog to sit, or maybe there's a person who refuses to take two trips to the grocery store and successfully loads up their arms and does it in one trip (you know who you are). Whatever the case may be, the marching band is sure to make any accomplishment memorable.
