BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) — In a story published March 22, 2021, about the surge of migrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, The Associated Press erroneously reported that 6 of 10 people who arrived in migrant families encountered by authorities in February were expelled from the country. The correct figure is that 6 of 10 people in families were allowed to stay in the U.S. to seek asylum.
