Authorities identify man who died in Mount Pisgah crash near Mantua last week

WELLSVILLE, Cache County — Authorities identified a man who died after he was ejected from a Jeep in the Mount Pisgah area last week.

Shawn Hall, 52, died in the March 18 crash, according to Cache County Sheriff's Office Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi.

According to a news release, the sheriff's office responded to reports of a fatal crash around 5:30 p.m. Deputies arrived at the scene and found a single occupant had been ejected from the vehicle after it had left the dirt roadway.

The release stated that the occupant was not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol may have been involved in the incident. Further information was not released Wednesday.
