KAYSVILLE — Three people were critically injured in a rollover crash on I-15 near 200 North in Kaysville Wednesday afternoon, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

According to a series of tweets by the highway patrol, one occupant of the vehicle was transported by air and two others were transported by ambulance with critical injuries. Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, troopers said.

Around 3:50 p.m. Utah Department of Transportation said that northbound I-15 was closed and traffic would be diverted off at 200 North. The road was reopened at 4:44 p.m. after Utah Highway Patrol completed its investigation; residual delays are still expected.

Impairment is suspected as a factor in the crash, according to officials.

Further information, including the identities of those involved, was not released.
