PROVO — Federal and local authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information on who set a Provo meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on fire last week.

On Feb. 25, Provo police and firefighters responded to a fire at the church, 667 N. 600 East. The reward was announced Thursday by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Denver Field Division, Provo police and fire departments, and the Utah State Fire Marshal.

Authorities are seeking information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Anyone with information can call Provo police at 801-852-6210 or email information to ATFTips@atf.gov. Anonymous tips can be sent here.
