(KSL News) Interstate-80 construction is ahead of schedule.
UDOT planned on closing westbound traffic between State Street and 700 East through Tuesday morning, but crews have been able to work faster than expected. So tonight will be the last night the road is closed.
Westbound traffic will be closed at 10 p.m. When the freeway opens at 5:30 a.m., all traffic will be on the new pavement.
