CLEARFIELD — Utah law enforcement agencies are asking for the public's help in locating a man charged with two felonies related to rape, sexual assault, and exploitation of victims, including minors, in 2019 and 2020.
The Utah Attorney General's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children division and the Clearfield Police Department say the man they are looking for is 35-year-old Dustin Giles Andrus.
Last week, Clearfield police attempted to arrest Andrus, according to Friday news release from the attorney general's office, but he fled, leading officers on a high-speed chase. The officers ended the pursuit out of concern for the public's safety, the news release says, and Andrus remains out in the public.
Vehicles Andrus is known to be driving include a red 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 with Utah license plate number E149CK and a white 2017 Subaru WRX with Utah license plate number V613HP.
Authorities warn that Andrus is considered dangerous and caution should be exercised before confronting him.
