SOUTH SALT LAKE — One man was transported to the hospital in critical condition after he was shot at a South Salt Lake apartment complex Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded to 854 W. Timbercreek Way about 10:27 p.m. in response to a reported shooting, according to a police department Facebook post. A 44-year-old man was transported to an area hospital.
Investigators and detectives are on scene, police said, and a person of interest has been located.

"It appears the scene is stable," the post said in part. "Avoid the area as the investigation is continuing."
