TAYLORSVILLE — Power has been restored to customers who were affected by a Wednesday outage in Taylorsville.
The power outage was first reported just after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Rocky Mountain Power reported. About 5,600 people are affected by the outage in Taylorsville and Kearns, the company said.
By 11:30 a.m., power had been restored to all but a few hundred customers in the area, according to the company's website.

The estimated restoration time is 3 p.m., according to Rocky Mountain Power. All power was restored to customers around 3:40 p.m.
The cause of the outage was determined to be a damaged power line, the company said.
