1. BYU study: Most Americans 'supportive' of getting COVID-19 vaccine, but worried about side effects

While more than ⅔ of Americans are supportive of getting a COVID-19 vaccine once it becomes available, many are also concerned about potential side effects and whether the vaccine will have undergone adequate testing, according to a new Brigham Young University study.

2. Hundreds show up for free COVID testing event in Ogden

Hundreds of people lined up outside an Ogden elementary school to get a COVID-19 test, which was far more than health care workers expected.

3. Thanksgiving's Heroes distribute 2,500 turkey dinners to families throughout N. Utah

4. Ground broken for USU Moab campus

1. Donovan Mitchell agrees to extension with Utah Jazz

Mitchell agreed to a five-year extension with the Utah Jazz on Sunday, a source confirmed to KSL.com.

2. Wilson throws 4 TD passes in 1st half, backups impress as No. 8 BYU routs FCS foe No. Alabama

Zach Wilson threw for 212 yards and four touchdowns, Dax Milne caught four passes for 101 yards, and Tyler Allgeier ran for 141 yards and two scores — all in the first half — as No. 8 BYU cruised to a 66-14 win over FCS foe North Alabama in front of a mostly-empty LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

3. No. 20 USC capitalizes on 5 Utah turnovers to claim 33-17 win

Utah (0-1) opened the season with a five turnover performance and a disjointed offense that struggled to move the ball against a USC (3-0) program that's been fortunate to play three opponents that have all debuted their season in three consecutive weeks.

4. 6A championship: Behind prolific QB Jaxson Dart and dominant defense, Corner Canyon rolls to 3rd-straight title

Dart threw for four touchdowns and ran for another score as Corner Canyon blew past Region 4 rival Lone Peak, 45-7, to clinch the Chargers' 40th straight victory and third-straight state title Friday at Cedar Valley High School.

5. 5A championship: Orem trusts in defense, skips to 4th-straight title for 1st time in program history

Playing with a pulled groin, Skipps ran for touchdowns and added an interception on defense as the Tigers held Timpview to 6 points for most of the night and put the game away with one final goal-line stand, 26-13, to clinch a fourth-straight title in the Class 5A state championship Friday at Cedar Valley High School.
