MIDVALE — A Midvale man accused of giving drugs to a 14-year-old girl and then sexually assaulting her has been formally charged.

Gregory David Allen, 45, was charged Friday in 3rd District Court with rape and forcible sodomy, both first-degree felonies. as well as child endangerment and drug distribution, both third-degree felonies.

On Oct. 27, a 14-year-old girl was at a friend's house when Allen asked her to talk to him in his bedroom, according to charging documents. That's when Allen offered the girl a wax substance, THC dab, which she refused twice before agreeing to smoke it, according to charging documents.

The girl said she "became dizzy" and that's when Allen forced himself on top of her and raped her, the charges state.

Allen was arrested on Wednesday. Prosecutors have requested he be held in the Salt Lake County Jail without bail.

In April, Allen was charged in a separate case in 3rd District Court with three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl, according to charging documents. A preliminary hearing in that case is scheduled for Dec. 1.

In 2016, Allen was charged with two counts of enticing a minor and eight counts of dealing in harmful materials to a minor, but the case was later dismissed, according to court records.
