Missing 13-year-old girl from Kearns found safe

KEARNS — A 13-year-old girl with low-functioning autism was found Tuesday night after she was reported missing in Kearns earlier in the afternoon.

About 3 p.m., the girl was reported missing when she didn't return home from school, Unified police said.

By 9:45 p.m., the girl had been found and safely returned to her family.
