IOSEPA, Tooele County — Two people died early Sunday morning when they were ejected from their vehicle during a rollover crash in Tooele County, authorities said.

Officials were notified of the wreck about 5:43 a.m., according to Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Chris Bishop. The vehicle left the road on state Route 196 near Iosepa and rolled, ejecting and killing both occupants, he said.

The deceased were identified Monday as 47-year-old Cassie Wade and 36-year-old Johnnie Bear, both of Tooele, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street.

Bishop said the agency's accident reconstruction team will investigate.

The crash caused delays in both directions on the remote highway, but the scene was cleared later Sunday morning.
