SOUTH SALT LAKE — South Salt Lake police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 11-year-old boy they say is endangered.
Kayden Christensen was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans Saturday at about 11:10 a.m. South Salt Lake police spokesperson Danielle Croyle said Kayden was at the Juvenile Receiving Center at 177 Price Ave. and just "walked away."
Police have searched areas that Kayden frequents, but the boy still hasn't been located as of 8:15 p.m., she said.
Christensen is about 4-foot-9 and 80 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He is considered endangered, police said, because of his age and because he is in state custody.
If located, authorities ask the public to contact them at 801-814-4000.
