THE CLOSET — Diamonds are forever, and apparently so is one particular McDonald’s hamburger.
Well, at least that’s the claim from the woman in this featured video.
Imagine, if you will, buying a McDonald’s burger and small fry in 1996. And instead of enjoying that burger, you put it in a shoebox in your closet.
The question is: Why would you do such a thing? Maybe you’re just purely curious, maybe it was a science experiment that you forgot about, or maybe you’re trying to prove a point.
Whatever reason, this woman has had a burger and fries in her closet for 24 years.
In the video, she shows us the results of that particular brand of stubbornness. And instead of being a toxic pile of food goo, the burger and fries are totally intact. Dried and weird, but still a fully recognizable fast food meal.
Of course, the burger and fries wouldn’t survive like that in just any conditions (don’t try it in the rainforest, for example). Being in a cool, dark and arid environment can dry out or mummify many different types of organic materials.
In the end, a 24-year-old burger is both not all that disgusting, yet so very disgusting at the same time.
