(KSL News) Dozens of Salt Lake County organizations will lose thousands in county funding over the next year.

The county will cut 10 percent from the statutory and general fund to help it deal with an $11 million drop in sales tax revenue.

That fund supplies money for a number of groups, like the Midvale Boys and Girls Club and the Bicycle Advisory Committee.

The county estimates it will save about $300,000 by trimming the fund's budget.
