LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Gary Wilkinson scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds to help Utah State run away from Cal Poly 97-57 Saturday night.

Stavon Williams scored 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting from 3-point range in the second half for the Aggies (4-0). Tai Wesley added 14 points and five assists.

Chaz Thomas led the Mustangs (1-4) in scoring with 18.

Utah State used a 19-6 run to start the second half and led 65-36 with 13 minutes to play. Williams then hit three 3-pointers on four trips down the floor to push the game out of reach.

The Mustangs held the lead much of the first half until Utah State put together an 11-0 run to take a 25-18 lead with 7:29 to go in the half.

The Aggies led 46-30 at halftime, with Cal Poly shooting 5-of-6 from 3-point range in the half but gaining only six points in the paint.
