Cathyrn Gray and Morgan Champion have cerebral palsy, but that's not the only thing the 4-year-olds have in common.
In 2004 their mothers, Alpharetta residents Cynthia Frisina Gray and Anna Marie Champion, started Reaching for the Stars, a foundation dedicated to increasing re- search and resources for pediatric cerebral palsy.
The duo will bring together parents and nearly 20 neurologists, surgeons, rehabilitation specialists and educational experts for their first conference on April 16, in the conference facility at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
The one-day event will be a perfect opportunity to obtain network support and for physicians to speak directly to parents' concerns, said Patty Turlington of CHA.
