(KSL News) -- A man in Taylorsville stopped an attempted robbery in his home, then he helped police catch the suspects.
The homeowner called police to report that a man broke his window, so he beat him with a baseball bat. The man and two other suspects eventually took off.
When police came to take a report from the homeowner he pointed out to police the suspects were driving by the house again.
The man beaten with the bat was taken to University of Utah hospital.
Police say all three suspects are gang members. They had apparantly tried to rob the same home Tuesday.
