(KSL News) Someone set fire today to a sign critical of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted at a Salt Lake home near 900 East and 800 South.

Police say the sign read "LDS, stay out of other people's lives." Half of it burned, but it still stands.

The three people who live at the home put up the sign. "I don't know if it was actually because it had that message or if someone was playing a practical joke. But either way, it touches me; a meaningful statement," said Celia Coughlin, who lives at the home.

They had also put up other signs with protest messages in their yard.
