A movie based on a vampire book written by a Brigham Young University graduate is selling out shows around the state more than a week before it even comes out.

The movie "Twilight" opens Friday, Nov. 21. But it's already sold out so many of its early morning midnight screenings around Utah that Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theaters General Manager Blake Anderson says the theater is adding early morning shows, through 2:40 a.m.

"Oh, it's huge. It's off the charts huge," he said.

The James Bond movie coming out this week is selling well. But it's still getting blown away locally in ticket sales by Twilight, which Anderson says will have one of those crazy fan followings.

"We'll have vampires all over here," he predicted.

Twilight also is doing well in Oregon, where many of the scenes take place.
