WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Susan Lucci, who has played Erica Kane on "All My Children " for the past 35 years, will talk about turning back the clock Saturday at the WPBF-TV Florida Lifestyles Expo. She will appear at the Palm Beach County Convention Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Lucci says she'll sign autographs, take questions from the audience and help demonstrate Youthful Essence, the personal microdermabrasion kit, for which she is a spokeswoman.

"The product is wonderful, and it's really what I use. People always ask me what I use for my skin, and this is it," she says. '`I always had good skin, but now I feel like I have great skin.''

We asked Lucci, 57, for her top five tips for healthy skin. They're nothing fancy, but maybe that's why they work so well for her:

1. Eat well, within reason

Lucci aims for high-fiber, low-fat meals, but she keeps things in perspective. I'm on vacation,'' she said from The Breakers earlier this week, and last night I had rigatoni and veal meatballs. Got to do it! But today I'll be having fresh fruit and Special K. You do a little balancing act.''

2. Drink water ... and limit caffeine

``Since drinking water can be boring, sometimes I spice it up with a spritz of lemon or lime or cucumber. ... I have also cut way back on caffeine, drinking only one and occasionally two cups of coffee a day and no soft drinks. Try substituting a cup of hot water with lemon to reduce your coffee intake. Add honey if you want something sweet.''

3. Whatever you choose, work out

``Choose an activity you enjoy and do it at least 20 minutes, four times each week. My favorite exercise routine is Pilates, which I've been doing for six years. ... It's great for balance, mental focus, flexibility, and the results are wonderful.''

4. Wear sunscreen

And make it at least SPF 15. ``Reapply sunscreen throughout the day if you spend lots of time outside. When I'm outdoors at the beach, I wear a good wide-brimmed sun hat and sunglasses, and my makeup also has sunscreen in it.''

5. Give yourself a break

``Stress can cause you to frown and scowl, which can eventually lead to facial lines and creases. It also can weaken your immune system. Take a deep breath, slow down and relax. When I'm particularly overwhelmed, I take a five-minute time out . I sit down, close my eyes and take deep breaths, which puts me into a calmer state. I highly recommend going outside for a few minutes and taking some deep breaths of fresh air a few times a day.''
